September 25 family portrait

On Monday we headed to an old favorite park of ours, Baird Park. Years ago we used this location a lot but haven't done anything in the past couple years. Now I remember why we liked it so much! We had to enter into the park from a different direction because of construction and we are so glad we did because we stumbled upon these great looking barn doors which were perfect and we didn't even know they were there. I think the pictures we took there are some of my favorite from the session. This session was a gift from the two daughters for their mom. We are friends with Sandy and George from church and Lori went to the same college as Lynn and Chris although different years. We had a blast. What great kids these families have! They were willing and enthusiastic with the whole session which made it so enjoyable for us. We did have to break out the monkey dance once to try and crack a smile with the littlest one, but I think I laughed more watching the adults do the dance! Thanks gang for a fun afternoon. Oh, and our 5 year old daughter tagged along with us, and did a great job assisting mommy and daddy!

September 24 Therese & Jake engagement session

We had a great time with Theres and Jake and managed to squeeze their session in just before it poured. We had just finished and got back in to our cars, and it rained (well actually it really poured) - timing could not have been better! They took us to this fantastic location outside of Wilmington, a wonderful mixture of rock, greenery, and run down mill. We want to go back again! They were such a fun and cute couple, we really enjoyed sitting back and watching them interact together. Thanks Therese and Jake for a great afternoon, we can't wait for your wedding this spring!

September 17, 2006 Alicia & Evan get married

We spent a wonderful day with Alicia and Evan as they were married. We had a beautiful setting at Westover Country Club, fun bridal party, cutie pie flower girls, ultra cool groom and easy going bride. Thanks for the fun Alica and Evan and for letting us try out some stuff on you! We found some neat looking shadows, reflections, always have to have some fun with the shoes, great moments, and got to love the bunny ears provided by Alicia's brother!
