And the Super Trooper Award goes to this wonderful family who braved the elements at 4:30 in the afternoon at the end of January. Thank you, thank you thank you! The girls were absolute naturals and I think you'll be seeing more of them in the future! Thanks gang, you're too much fun!

Albums, Albums, Albums
It has been a busy January designing and completing wedding albums. Our couples have been doing the hard work of getting their selections to me or giving me the go ahead to pre-design and it has been so enjoyable reliving these special days again. Just one more reason we love doing what we do, these stories and memories stay with us beyond the wedding day. I thought I'd share some recent work with you.

Amelia and William get married
Our last wedding of the season for us was the wedding of Amy and Will. Amy had an inner model that just wanted to come out and play so we had a grand time utilizing some fantastic light at her mother's home to start with. She was surrounded by her lovely bridesmaids, mother and aunt for all the getting ready preparations. We love this time that is enveloped in so many emotions - stress, anticipation, laughter, eagerness, all the months of preparation is coming down to this day and it's finally here. Amy looked radiant in her Vera Wang gown and we loved the black detail found in it.
Amy and Will decided that they wanted to do their imagery ahead of time which is just music to our ears! In order to maximize some daylight hours, we headed over to Loch Nairn Golf Club in Avondale to meet up with the guys. Poor Will, the day before he was diagnosed with mono and we felt so bad for him. He was a trooper though, and as soon as he saw his beautiful bride, he got that sparkle in his eyes. After a quiet first sight between the two of them, we spent some time outside utilizing the picturesque PA rolling hills backdrop, before heading inside for some quick family formals.
It was time for the service performed by the extremely nice Father George Lucy. The service was cozy and warm, lit by candlelight and then Amy and Will joined their guests immediately for the cocktail hour. The reception was so lovely and still had a Christmas warmth to it. The staff at Loch Nairn did a beautiful job creating a lovely reception as well as the floral arrangements by Anne Chansonette. Lots of great dancing and despite the fact that there was an important football game happening at the same time, I was impressed that the guys didn't hang out at the bar for extended periods of time!
Thank you Amy and Will for a wonderful time. We wish you a beautiful marriage!
