Today we had the delightful pleasure of photographing this wonderful family. They made our day with their ease of laughter and naturalness in front of the camera. This is all rather surprising, because this is our friend and fellow photographer, Ryan Estes of Ryan Estes Photography, and most of us know that we photographers like being on the backside of the lens! So kudos to you Ryan!
About a month and a half ago we had our family portrait taken by John Michael Cooper, otherwise known as AltF. He and his wife Dalisa were traveling across country from Las Vegas doing workshops and developed a wonderful concept that we all hope continues for years to come. He recognized that many of us professional photographers don't get on the other side of the lens too often, especially for a family photograph, so his mission is to put an end to that... by connecting photographers with photographers for a family session. He took our family portrait and provided us with a lovely and quite large canvas piece of art for our home at no charge. The only request he had, was that we do the same for another photographer, and they in turn to another, and so on and so on. Once again, I'm reminded at how fabulous this industry is that we work in. We have met some truly wonderful people on this journey.
To follow this project be sure to check out RoadsideFamilies. And stay tuned, we love this project concept that we hope to photograph another photographer this fall.

Engagement Experience: Gina and Tom
We were so excited to travel to Baltimore this weekend to catch up with Gina and Tom for some fun love in the city. We just love Baltimore and we had an absolute wonderful time hitting some favorite spots for Gina and Tom. Thank you for being such a lovely couple, it was an absolute pleasure watching you interact. Can't wait for next year!
