Chester County Child Photographer: two on the go

Two is so much fun, busy, curious, constant on the go. So needless to say, I had so much fun with this little one as we explored our image garden. Thank you little one, you are just darling.

Philadelphia Wedding Photographers: Patrick and Emily's experience

7.31.10
Bartram's Garden, Philadelphia

What a wonderful weekend we have had. Both Friday and Saturday weddings were connected by past wedding couples. What joy it is for us to see all these wonderful people again and share in another happy event. We did the wedding photography of Patrick's father 2 years ago and now we were blessed to be with everyone again for Patrick and Emily's wedding. We had not been to Bartram's Garden before, and now we can't wait to go back. What a beautiful setting, and the staff was so nice to work with. Thank you Emily and Patrick (and Dawn and Michael!) it was just lovely spending the day with you. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Chester County Wedding Photographers: Meg and Mike Wedding experience

7.30.10
Church: St. Simon and Jude, West Chester
Portraits: Ridley Creek State Park
Reception: Mendenhall Inn

6 years ago we had the absolute pleasure of meeting this wonderful family at the wedding of Cari and Joe. And now the day arrived for Carrie's sister to get married. We were absolutely thrilled to be a part of their day and see all the family again, and meet the newest member as well, who is already 3! We love what we do!

Chester County Child Photographer: twins year in the life

I can't believe these two little munchkins have hit their 9 month milestone! How quickly this year is going. They are now on the verge of crawling and standing , and full of plain old silliness, watch out mommy and daddy. For this session, they came out to see me in our image garden, and despite the heat, we all had a blast. I even got to give one of them their bottle at the end, ahh, what a way to enjoy life!

Chester County Baby photographer: newborn experience

You have to remember this little girl who we followed for a year when she was first born, well... she is a big sister now and loving every minute of it. I'll have the pleasure of following baby brother over the next year and big sister too, yippee. Can't wait for all the fun every three months. Keep growing and smiling little ones!

Chester County baby photographer: newborn experience

What a precious little guy this little one was, well not so little being born at 10 lbs, but sure content. I loved the color of his room and he didn't make one little peep the entire time I was there. Congratulations mommy and daddy, he's in very good hands!

Chester County Child Photographer: one is fun

another delightful session with this little one year old. It was a pleasure to meet her as she is the sparkly eyed daughter of one of our wedding couples from 2007. I love this age, full of interest and wonder and everything is new...and grass is not too pleasant, but we all know she'll be running around in it soon! Thank you for sharing her with me!

I'll take heat and humidity any day to have such pretty light to play in! What a wonderful time we had with Nick and Alison and their families and friends. Everyone was such a good sport about the heat and a cold shower later, it is hard to remember that part of the day. Nick and Alison are such sweet and kind people, their easy to laugh nature makes it so pleasant to be around. Thank you for being you and sharing your lovely day with us. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Chester County Portrait Photography: twin experience

Can these 2 get any cuter? They are growing so fast and their year in the life experience sessions takes them to 7 months now and sitting up. Watch out mommy and daddy, life on the move is about to happen!

Chester County Portrait Photography: sibling dress up experience

A mommy's birthday plus a daddy cooking up a surprise equals a big bag of dress up clothes and two daughters having a delightful time playing together in the image garden.

Chester County Portrait Photography: sibling dance experience

siblings...dancers...image garden in spring...ahh, life is good...

Delaware County Family Photographer: Family Experience

Children at ages 18 months and 3 1/2 are busy... but they sure are fun... and neighbors mowing lawns are very distracting... but kids being distracted are very entertaining... and parents who just go with the flow and recognize there are things in life that just can't be controlled are wonderful.

Chester County Portrait Photography: generational experience

When 3 generations of a family get together, fun is sure to happen... thank you for sharing your family with us and for coordinating every one's schedules to get together!

We had the most lovely time with Mary and Steve at their intimate wedding on Saturday. Her mother was a brilliant master of color and fabrics that she used to creatively design their outdoor BBQ setting, it was fabulous. Thank you Mary and Steve for your kindness and sweetness, we completely enjoyed ourselves. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Invitation to 2010 Peace Festival

Last year I was given the opportunity to create portraits of peacemakers to be exhibited at the Frazer Mennonite Church annual peace fest. This year, I was honored to be asked to expand the exhibit and do portraits of peace makers throughout Chester County. 29 portraits will be on display this Saturday, May 22 from 1-5pm at Frazer Mennonite Church off Route 30 in Frazer. We would love to see your smiling faces there.

Christening - Delaware County Baby Photographer

Before I can get into the details of this posting, I first have to make an announcement. This year, we have had an apprentice join us, Quincy Adam. You may remember him as he was one of our grooms from last year. Many moons ago, Neville started out in much the same way when David Campli, of Campli Photography in Malvern, took him under his wing. We have been ever grateful to David and wanted to pay it forward and when Quincy approached us, it seemed like great timing and a great match for us. So... welcome Quincy!

You may also remember John and Katherine, one of our wedding couples from 2007. Well, they have just welcomed their first little girl this year and Neville was thrilled to document her christening, with Quincy's help. The godparents, Faithe and Andy, were another one of our wedding couples, and as always, it is just wonderful for us to maintain these connections and see our couples grow. Thank you for sharing this next phase of your life with us.

These next 2 images were wonderfully captured by Quincy:

4.24.10

Radnor Valley Country Club, Villanova, PA
wedding coordinator: Events by On Stage and Off

What a delight to be with Nicole and Peter and their families for their wedding celebration this weekend. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. This was our first time at Radnor Valley, and it is absolutely gorgeous there! What a perfect place for Nicole and Peter. I shed a few tears during the day, particularly during their communion together and her father's toast. Truly a blessing to be a part of this day. Thank you Nicole and Peter!

Chester County Baby Photographer: Twin Experience

You are all going to get to know these little munchkins since I'll be following them this year for their Year in the life Experience sessions. They have now hit the 3 month milestone (well, they were actually 4 months for their session) and they are getting big! I couldn't believe the difference from their newborn session. I even got to hold one babykins while taking a quick cat nap before finishing up the session. What fun for me! Thanks little ones, can't wait for 6 months in the spring!

In honor of my Grampa

October 18, 1916 - March 2, 2010

I'm reminded this week once again of the importance of photographs. My beloved Grampa passed away at the age of 93 this week. He was my hero and I completely admired the life he and my Grammie lived. We were blessed to have him in our lives and for our children to know him. Last October, 2008, I wanted to make sure we had some portraits of him and to capture the wonderful man he was. So, Neville and I wheeled him out of his room and found some window light that was just perfect. Today, as we remember him, I'm so thankful for this image among many others we have of him interacting with our children.

Delaware County Baby Photographer : Baby Experience

Babies... ah they are just too cute. I had another delightful time with this little one and his family. His parents were one of our 2007 wedding couples and it is just wonderful seeing them at this stage of life and watch them become such lovely parents. An added bonus for me was that while he was taken a little snooze, I got to catch up with his grandparents who I haven't seen since the wedding. I love what I do!

Image Garden winter fun

The image garden is proving to be loads of fun in the winter too...

Baby Experience: ahh, little ones

Although I love the stage of life I'm in and the ages of our children, I do love the newborn stage and so it is always a pleasure to photograph these tiny little babies. We photographed Kevin and Lindsay in 2006 for their wedding and now they are the proud parents of this darling little one:

Family Experiences: Image Garden here we come!

We did the majority of our mini sessions in the new image garden. It was so much fun using our new space and we cannot wait to see what each year brings to the garden.
