Delaware County Baby Photographer: Newborn Experience

This little angle baby was just precious. Look at that eye contact and he wasn't even 2 weeks old yet. Grow well little one and keep behaving like you are, you are in wonderful hands with your mommy and daddy!

Invitation to 2010 Peace Festival

Last year I was given the opportunity to create portraits of peacemakers to be exhibited at the Frazer Mennonite Church annual peace fest. This year, I was honored to be asked to expand the exhibit and do portraits of peace makers throughout Chester County. 29 portraits will be on display this Saturday, May 22 from 1-5pm at Frazer Mennonite Church off Route 30 in Frazer. We would love to see your smiling faces there.

Christening - Delaware County Baby Photographer

Before I can get into the details of this posting, I first have to make an announcement. This year, we have had an apprentice join us, Quincy Adam. You may remember him as he was one of our grooms from last year. Many moons ago, Neville started out in much the same way when David Campli, of Campli Photography in Malvern, took him under his wing. We have been ever grateful to David and wanted to pay it forward and when Quincy approached us, it seemed like great timing and a great match for us. So... welcome Quincy!

You may also remember John and Katherine, one of our wedding couples from 2007. Well, they have just welcomed their first little girl this year and Neville was thrilled to document her christening, with Quincy's help. The godparents, Faithe and Andy, were another one of our wedding couples, and as always, it is just wonderful for us to maintain these connections and see our couples grow. Thank you for sharing this next phase of your life with us.

These next 2 images were wonderfully captured by Quincy:

Delaware County Wedding Photographers: Nicole and Peter at Radnor Valley Country Club

4.24.10

Radnor Valley Country Club, Villanova, PA
wedding coordinator: Events by On Stage and Off

What a delight to be with Nicole and Peter and their families for their wedding celebration this weekend. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. This was our first time at Radnor Valley, and it is absolutely gorgeous there! What a perfect place for Nicole and Peter. I shed a few tears during the day, particularly during their communion together and her father's toast. Truly a blessing to be a part of this day. Thank you Nicole and Peter!

Chester County Portrait Photographer: First Communion Experience

What a great time I had with this 2nd grader on the occasion of his First Communion. He was so into doing his session, it was just a delight for me. And what fabulous light we had to work with. Thank you for your enthusiasm, I enjoyed every minute of it!

Chester County Baby Photographer: Twin Experience

You are all going to get to know these little munchkins since I'll be following them this year for their Year in the life Experience sessions. They have now hit the 3 month milestone (well, they were actually 4 months for their session) and they are getting big! I couldn't believe the difference from their newborn session. I even got to hold one babykins while taking a quick cat nap before finishing up the session. What fun for me! Thanks little ones, can't wait for 6 months in the spring!

In honor of my Grampa

October 18, 1916 - March 2, 2010

I'm reminded this week once again of the importance of photographs. My beloved Grampa passed away at the age of 93 this week. He was my hero and I completely admired the life he and my Grammie lived. We were blessed to have him in our lives and for our children to know him. Last October, 2008, I wanted to make sure we had some portraits of him and to capture the wonderful man he was. So, Neville and I wheeled him out of his room and found some window light that was just perfect. Today, as we remember him, I'm so thankful for this image among many others we have of him interacting with our children.

Delaware County Baby Photographer : Baby Experience

Babies... ah they are just too cute. I had another delightful time with this little one and his family. His parents were one of our 2007 wedding couples and it is just wonderful seeing them at this stage of life and watch them become such lovely parents. An added bonus for me was that while he was taken a little snooze, I got to catch up with his grandparents who I haven't seen since the wedding. I love what I do!

Image Garden winter fun

The image garden is proving to be loads of fun in the winter too...

Baby Experience: ahh, little ones

Although I love the stage of life I'm in and the ages of our children, I do love the newborn stage and so it is always a pleasure to photograph these tiny little babies. We photographed Kevin and Lindsay in 2006 for their wedding and now they are the proud parents of this darling little one:

Family Experiences: Image Garden here we come!

We did the majority of our mini sessions in the new image garden. It was so much fun using our new space and we cannot wait to see what each year brings to the garden.

Family Experiences: love those fall colors

It is time to catch you all up on more of the fun we had this fall. We had 30 mini sessions and had a blast with each and every family we met. This first set was at a Hibernia Park where we had to dodge some rain drops, and cool temps, but these families were just great!

Family Experience: oh the back yard!

What another delightful time we had with this fun filled family. The back yard, oh, the back yard, was a dream with beautiful light, moss on boulders, and pretty trees, we could have stayed and played all day! Thank you for the fun and keeping us well entertained, you brought us many smiles!

Family Experience: love, joy, laughter

Remember this lovely wedding couple?

Well meet the newest member of this family!:

What a happy and contented baby this little one is. We had so much fun together and you should see his smiles when daddy sings Rudolph the red nose reindeer. Thank you for a lovely time, a lovely day, and fun in the leaves. You are all a joy to be around for many reasons!
